Surya Foods is family run $100 million annual turnover business that was established in 1977. We are one of the pioneers of world foods in the UK and are currently one of the largest suppliers of world foods to the UK wholesale and retail food market, as well as a key supplier to the UK multiples such as Tesco, ASDA, Sainsbury’s , Morrisons and Lidl.

Just over two years ago we took a strategic decision to enter the UK’s food service market and our first step was to identify any gaps within this sector. Subsequently we have managed to steadily build supply alliances and working partnerships with some of the UK’s established wholesalers and retailers in this sector, such as; 3663, DBC, JJ Food Service, Star Catering Services and a number of the Country Range Group foodservice members. We are also in advanced supply discussions with other key players in this sector.

One of Surya’s key USPs is that we offer excellent quality products at very competitive prices especially on our key and core products, such as; rice (long grain easy cook rice, basmati rice and jasmine rice), coconut milk and ethnic sauces and seasonings (Asian, Oriental and Afro-Caribbean), that always bring a different flair and appeal to this dynamic and continuously evolving sector.
